Why Personal Training?

Why Strength Training?

Strength training becomes essential as we age, playing a crucial role in maintaining our independence and overall well-being. Starting after age 30, we begin to lose muscle mass at a rate of about 3% - 5% per decade, and accelerates in later decades. The key to preserving our strength lies in engaging in progressive strength training. Embracing this practice not only helps us stay strong but also enhances our quality of as we grow older.

Why Balance Training?

Balance is not something we lose as we reach a certain age - rather age related decline. It is a multi sensory system that relies on vision, inner ear input, and body awareness working together. Together we will retrain and rebuild the balance system through purposeful, progressive exercises.

Why mobility?

Mobility is not a luxury as we age - it is independence in motion. The ability to walk, bend, reach, and rise from a chair determines whether we live life on our own terms. Mobility gives us the freedom, dignity, and power to stay engaged in the people and activities that give our lives meaning.
